The QJB2.2/8-400/3-740 is the workhorse size for the cooling pond of a palm oil mill effluent plant. Two or more units installed along the pond create a slow circulation loop that spreads the hot 60 C POME across the surface, releases residual oil for skimming, and prevents the crust that blocks oxygen transfer before the anaerobic stage. The 400 mm propeller delivers 1250 N of thrust at only 2.2 kW, so a 2000 cubic metre pond can be turned over with two units running continuously.

Packing, Shipping and After Sales

Each unit is wrapped in waterproof film, fixed on a steel frame and packed in a fumigation-free plywood case suitable for sea freight to Port Klang, Penang, Bangkok or Laem Chabang. Spare mechanical seals, O-rings and a propeller are recommended as site stock. A 12 month warranty covers the motor and mechanical seal under normal operating conditions.
